AGAINST THE ODDS SLJ ACTIVITY 1
Three things that I treasure is my house my family and Kumara. The reason that I treasure my house is because it was built by my great Grandad. Everyone who owned it was related to me. I love my family because of our culture and who doesn't, I love my family. I love Kumara because it is a beautiful town and it has a lot of history.

You have chosen three beautiful things that are very important to you. I love that you have chosen your family. My family is very important to me too. It is awesome that the house you live in is so special to you and your family because your great grandad built it. It truly is something to treasure as not many people can say that about the house they live in. I have never been to Kumara before. I would love to know more about the beautiful town you live in. What makes it special? What is your favourite thing about Kumara?
