Three things that I treasure is my house my family and Kumara. The reason that I treasure my house is because it was built by my great Grandad. Everyone who owned it was related to me. I love my family because of our culture and who doesn't, I love my family. I love Kumara because it is a beautiful town and it has a lot of history.

The SPCA is a charity that helps animals when they are sick or homeless. SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The SPCA was found in England,London in 1824 and is the oldest animal shelter in New Zealand. There are 39 SPCA centers in New Zealand.

I don't think it is fair that men get paid more money than woman if they do the same job, I think its sexist. The difference between the All Black and Black Ferns pay amount is not fair. The Woman's team have actually been more successful in the last two or three years. The amount should be even.

Why sport is more important than music

Why sport is more important than music. I believe that sport is more important than music because in sport you get lots of fitness from running, jumping etc which is good for you. You also get strength from lifting and pulling etc. Sports teaches you how to work as a team and you make heaps of friends.

Sports is hand coordination throwing, lifting, passing and other stuff it makes your hands very strong. It also makes your legs very strong. It also gets you in the fresh air instead of sitting inside all day doing nothing.

Music is mostly about the money but with sports you can enjoy yourself because it is fun and makes you happy. With music you just stand there getting no fitness. In music you do not work as a team and if you are a singer you get selfish.

Sports is part of a student's growth and development. Sports is very important for kids and adults. Scoring a Try, hitting a six or winning a race not only makes a student happy but also it boosts their confidence and they want to keep doing what their doing. Sports is not always about winning. It is about fair play and believing in yourself.

Outdoor sports like rugby, cricket, tennis, swimming, running, etc, keeps the body and mind active and engaged. While sports not only help in developing physical and mental health, it also develops the life skills of a student’s personality.

That is why sport is more important than music.

The All Blacks, represent New Zealand in men's rugby which is known as the country's national sport. The team has won the last two Rugby World Cups, in 2011 and 2015 and also won the first World Cup in 1987. And have just landed in Japan for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The All Blacks current captain is Keirin Read. The most capped All Black is Riche Mccaw, he is now retired. The All Blacks are the most successful national rugby team. The All Blacks first captain was Dave Gallaher.

The All Blacks top try scorer is Doug Howlett he scored 49 tries for the All Blacks. The top point scorer was Dan Carter with 1598 points. Marc Ellis scored 6 tries in one match.

The All Blacks hold the record for the most consecutive test match wins. New Zealand competes with Argentina, Australia and South Africa in The Rugby Championship. The All Blacks have won the trophy sixteen times.

The oldest player to play a Test for the All Blacks is Ned Hughes who was 40 years and 123 days old when he played his final Test against South Africa in 1921.

Highlanders

The Highlanders are a New Zealand Rugby Union team based in Dunedin that competes in Super Rugby. The team was formed in 1996 to represent the lower South Island in the newly formed Super 12 competition, and includes the Otago, North Otago and Southland unions.

Ben Smith has captained the Highlanders for years he has captained them about 135 times he is my favourite player he is the fullback or winger.The stadiums that the Highlanders play in are Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin and Rugby Park in Invercargill..

The Highlanders head coach is a former Crusaders player Aaron Mauger. Aaron Mauger was an All Black a very good all black. After the 2007 Rugby World cup he received a contract from the Leicester Tigers for 2 and a half years and he accepted. Leicester is a city in england.

The Highlanders are my favourite club in New Zealand. There are only two clubs in the South Island of New Zealand, they are the Highlanders and Crusaders.

The Highlanders are coming 4th on the table in the New Zealand Conference in the 2019 season. They lost their finals match against crusaders

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is a rugby union player who plays for the All Blacks, in international rugby. He plays at scrum-half in the team and is the most-capped scrum-half to ever play for New Zealand. Smith played for the Māori All Blacks in 2010, and was first selected for the All Blacks in 2012 and also a Highlander. Aaron Smith has played for the All Blacks for 7 years and he still is. He is basically a smaller version of jimmy cowan.

Marty Banks

Marty Banks is a New Zealand rugby union player. He played in the fly-half position for Tasman in the Mitre 10 Cup and after the 2016 season, he went to the Pro12 and now he has came back to New Zealand to play for the highlanders.

Rob Thomson

Rob Thompson is a New Zealand rugby player who plays centre for Manawatu in the Mitre 10 Cup and the Highlanders in the Super Rugby competition.

Waisake Naholo

Waisake Naholo is a New Zealand rugby union player. He previously played for the All Blacks Sevens and now plays on the wing for the Highlanders. Naholo made his test debut for the All Blacks in 2015 and was a member of the 2015 Rugby World Cup-winning team.

Places in Kumara

This morning we had to put labels of places we knew in Kumara some were up on the bord to help us.

Weekend

On Sunday I went for a bike ride with Karen, Dad and Rylee to the Taramakau Bridge from Greenstone Road. We went because Dad got a new bike and we have family day on Sunday. It was pretty cool because when we got to the Taramakau Bridge we got to have a swim and we got to have some food and some water because we were all really thirsty and tired.

The bike track was through the bush at the Taramakau Bridge. They made a bike road, it's like a road but for a bike. It even had a roundabout; it was really cool. There were a lot of other people on bikes biking around where we were and there were lots of cars as well. On the way home my butt was really sore and it was really tiring but Dad got home really quickly and brought the truck to pick us up.

On Friday and Saturday I did nothing but sit on the couch and watch TV. On Saturday there was a Warriors game, the Warriors won 40 to 6 against the Bulldogs. On Friday there was a rugby game Hurricanes vs Chiefs, it was a 23 all draw and the Hurricanes are one of the top teams and the Chiefs haven't won a game in the whole 2019 season. Sadly it was Monday again and I had to go to school and that wrecked the whole weekend.

Labradors Report

Labradors are large type of retriever-gun dog. A Labrador is one of the most popular breeds of dog in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Labradors were bred for physically demanding jobs, and they have the high energy that goes along with being a working breed. They need at least 30 to 60 minutes of exercise a day. Without it, they can vent their pent-up energy in destructive ways, such as barking and chewing. Are Labs Smart? Labradors in general are considered smart dogs, ranking in at seventh place for the brightest dog breed in the world. Whatever the colour, the Labrador Retriever remains a favorite breed due to its adorable, kind and intelligent nature, making it extremely trainable in all aspects.

When you have a disease labs are the best dog to have because they calm you down because they know if you are sick. Labs are the most commonly-used breed for guide dogs. The colors of labs are Black, Chocolate, and Golden. hunt for birds and fish and they are very fast as well which is good for hunting. Labradors are also America's favourite breed which is pretty good and they are good dogs and a lot of other countries love them as well.

The Labrador Retriever was bred to be both a friendly companion and a useful working dog breed. Historically, he earned his keep as a fisherman’s helper: hauling nets, fetching ropes, and retrieving fish from the chilly North Atlantic. Today’s Labrador Retriever is as good-natured and hard working as his ancestors, and he’s America’s most popular breed. These days the Lab works as a retriever for hunters, assistance dog to the handicapped, show competitor, and search and rescue dog, among other canine jobs.

To keep your dog in great condition, he needs the right diet and plenty of exercise. You probably want to know exactly how much exercise your Labrador needs on a daily basis.

Warriors vs Bulldogs

On Saturday there was a rugby league game the Warriors vs Bulldogs. The Warriors tries were scored by Ken Maumalo,Solomone Kata,Adam Keighran,Nathaniel,Roger Tuivasa-Sheck,Solomone Kata and Peta Hiku. The Bulldogs tries were scored by Christian Crichton. The score was 40 to 6 and it was a very good game. It was the first game of the NRL season for the Warriors and Bulldogs and the Warriors were a lot better. The warriors are at the top of the table and the Bulldogs are at the bottom of the table.

Weekend

On Friday I went to the warehouse and I saw my uncle there because he works there and when I go to the warehouse with my aunty since my uncle works at the warehouse I get stuff lower prices and then we went to the surf shop and got some other things And Dad brought a new bike and he went for a test ride on it and I was chasing him.

On Sunday I went to kids day. There were 101 activities and I done a lot of them one of them was a clown one where you had to throw the ball at a target and someone went underneath the bucket and I got them then I went under the bucket and I got wet as well. There was apple bobbing and I done it I got the apple in the bucket and out with my mouth.

Karen had a stand It was for her work and they had a lot of people come into their stand. I went in zorbs they were like inflatable balls and you ran inside of them and you moved I went against Rylee and I saw James William Vanessa Jack R Page Rider and a lot of other people from our school.

I won a free movie ticket for the movies And my sister won 9 things and I only won the movie ticket. There was a merry go round and I got stuck in a boat because I was too big. Zooper cars motorbikes and fire trucks that you got to ride on and there was a fire truck in the middle of the field. You could make your own cookies as well with icing.

There was also a haunted house and it was pitch black I went in and you had to try and get to the other side I walked into the wall heaps of times. There was also a 5D truck we watched a video and the things would pop out and stuff with spray you there were also scary ones. After kids day I went to stumpers and had some chips and a milkshake then went home.

Josh Ioane or Marty Banks

Should Josh Ioane or Marty Banks start. I Believe that  Marty Banks should start because he's just got back from Japan. For the past years that he was at the Highlanders he's been really good for them. He Started his debut in 2013 for Tasman and moved on to the Highlanders After the Mitre 10 Cup he hasn't played for the All Blacks but he is pretty good.

I think Josh Ioane should come on at half time. Because I've seen a lot of Otago games and he is good just like a lot of other young players. So they both get A go. Josh Ioane is only 23 so he's got a big future in rugby But Marty Banks is a very experienced player.

Marty Banks played in the 2015 super rugby final. And Josh Ioane played in the 2018 miter 10 cup final. Marty banks is born in refton on the west coast.And Josh Ioane was born in Auckland. They are both very good rugby players I like both of them They both play for the Highlanders and it took me a long time to decide which one I would pick to start.

When Marty Banks was young but he still played for the Highlanders he was playing with a lot of good players and they were probably very experienced Like Dan Carter Richie McCaw Liam Messam And Cory Jane. There were a lot of good players during that time But now Josh Ioane can look up to Marty Banks and Ben Smith. Again I Believe that  Marty Banks should start.
